name is Shelby Jackman.

If you
have not been here before, let me tell you a bit about myself.
I was born in 1991 in Miami, Fl. I am a animals rights advocate.
I am a vegetarian and I always have been. I have never had
any meats, chicken, fish or any food containing animal oils
or other animal byproducts.
From
1991 to 1999 I lived on a 42 ft. sailboat. When my baby
sister was born we moved from the boat to a house. I miss
the boat, but my mom thought it would be too crowded with
4 people..
I am
one of those home schooled kids.
My passion
is platform diving. I began diving when I was 8 years old.
For the past 8 years I have been diving with 2 time Olympian
Dario Di Fazio. Dario is the assistant dive coach for the
University Of Miami Hurricanes, he is also the head coach
for "Miami Diving". For a while I also trained
with Veronica Rebot-Canales who is now the Head Diving Coach
at Cornell University
Diving
has provided me an opportunity to meet many really nice
people and most of the worlds best divers. The majority
of my closest friends are divers. Some of these people dive
with me everyday, some are divers from other teams. It is
always enjoyable to travel to a meet and see other divers
from other parts of the country whom I have been competing
with over the years. We always have a good time.
My dad
is Philip (call him Kelly) Jackman of Divemeets.com
. His company changed the way Dive Meets are operated.
About
this site: The truth is; I sometimes forget to update the
pages. I mean to bring the pages current, but then I get
side tracked. I think I am about 3 years behind updating
everything after this paragraph. Still please feel free
to look around, I really will add newer pictures real soon
(as in one of these days).
